Well here are few ideas as to how essential oils apply to your everyday life:
WATER/FOOD: Use of spice and herbs in cooking, as well as concentrated essential oils.
Great in teas, and water.
ENVIRONMENT: Clean the air or just for pleasurable environmental fragrancing.
MOVEMENT: Dance, yoga, gardening, walking, all forms of exercise. Use oils to aid in circulation, motivation, and stimulation.
WORK: Anti-stress oils and blends in the workplace or other community gatherings. Use uplifting, invigorating and euphoric essential oils.
RELATIONSHIPS: Oils to assist with relaxation, feelings of well-being, personal scent, massage and touch.
REST: Adequate sleep and/or relaxation. Aromatic baths, yoga, massage. Essential oils can assist with stress, insomnia, relaxation and meditation.
I will write further posts on exact essential oils to use and how to use them.
Some of these ideas are adapted from Valerie Gennari Cooksley's book "Aromatherapy: A lifetime guide to healing with essential oils."
